Hi! I'm Mandi. I'm an LGBTQ+ Canadian union actor, screenwriter, director, singer, musician, independent producer and acting coach that specializes in Pochinko clown, character acting, and making a fool of myself.
I currently reside in Toronto, Ontario with my fat cat Marlo. I'm passionate about storytelling, mental health and the esoteric masterpiece that is The Room.
When it comes to my vibe, think Kristen Bell, Zooey Deschanel, Jim Carrey, Amy Poehler, Bryce Dallas Howard and Sailor Moon, all in one!
From mid April to mid July, my writing partner Dylan Miles and I used our time in isolation to write Metagame, a 133 page fantasy/adventure coming-of-age Dungeons & Dragons-inspired feature film. We are so proud of what we created and can't wait to see where it takes us!
I was also commissioned to do a variety of script coverage, plus write a short film highlighting the realities of being a woman in our society.
Additionally, I've also been designing and preparing to launch a blog! Check back for updates!
The Fardy Brothers, an award-winning short film I co-wrote, co-directed, and co-produced is now available online!
